PURPOSE:To provide a seasoning useful as a serviceable material in drying and storing meat especially when a livestock is dressed or when an animal is caught in hunting and to provide a method for producing a seasoned dry meat by using the seasoning. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a seasoning for dry meat of a livestock, e.g. dry chicken, dry pork or dry beef or for dry meat of a wild animal and a method for producing a seasoned dry meat by using the seasoning. This seasoning is prepared by blending a liquid seasoning containing 10wt.% to 20wt.% edible salt in water as the solvent and exhibiting a delicious taste, a sweet taste and a salty taste, e.g. soy sauce or Worcester sauce, a preservative composed of >=5wt.% ethyl alcohol, etc., in water as the solvent seasonings, e.g. a desired amount of a sweetening for keeping the sugar content and an acid seasoning such as vinegar, fruit juice, various kinds of spices and water. The liquid seasoning is used in an amount of >=25vol.% and water is used in an amount of >=5vol.%. |
