PURPOSE:To obtain a variety of operations in a simple manner with the lightweight and compact constitution, by pivotally installing a coupling upper part and a coupling lower part and carrying out the selection between the free and locked states of an angle adjusting piece and the insertion into an engagement longitudinal groove, by adjusting the vertical position of a slide plate. CONSTITUTION:A single-axis type knee joint main part is formed by pivotally installing each rear part of a coupling upper part 1 and a coupling lower part 4 by a pivotal shaft 9. Further, a slide plate 13 for selecting operation which is erected at the front part of the coupling lower part 4 is set in a multistage elevation enabled manner by the selecting means 16 such as a lever. Further, an engagement longitudinal groove 18 for fixation is formed at the coupling upper part 1 on the axis line of the slide plate 13, and a replacement type angle adjusting piece 19 for the movement of a knee which contacts the slide plate 13 in turn is installed at the lower edge of the coupling upper part 1. While, the lower edge of a bendable lever 21 connected at the rear edge of the coupling upper part 1 is connected to a slidable body 24 having a spring 26 installed on a supporting cylinder 23 at the coupling lower part 4. The vertical position of the slide plate 13 is adjusted, and the selection between the free and locked states of an angle adjusting piece 19 is carried out. |
