FINE EPOXY RESIN PARTICLE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To provide easily the subject particles being adaptable for extensive uses and having a controlled particle diameter and any desired composition. CONSTITUTION:A process for producing an epoxy resin emulsion by emulsifying and curing fine spherical epoxy resin particles having a particle diameter of 0.1-300mum, a polyepoxy compound and a curing agent in an inert liquid, wherein hydrophobic silica in used as the emulsifier. Fine epoxy resin particles are separated from this emulsion in the form of a powder.
