<p>PURPOSE:To generate an electric field between the intermingled fibers and to maintain coulomb force and effectively collect dust without being electrically neutralized even when conductive dust is collected and stuck by applying DC voltage to fiber constituting a nonwoven fabric. CONSTITUTION:A conductive film 3a is provided on the surface of fiber 2a constituting a nonwoven fabric to form a conductive nonwoven fabric 6a. An insulating film 7a is provided on the surface of the conductive film 3a of the conductive nonwoven fabric 1a to form an insulating nonwoven fabric 6a. The conductive nonwoven fabrics 1a and the insulating nonwoven fabrics 6a are alternately laminated and compressed to form one filter. DC voltage is applied to the conductive nonwoven fabrics 1a and the insulating nonwoven fabrics 6a. Then the electric field is generated between the conductive fiber 5a on the earth side and the insulating fiber 9a on the high voltage side intermingled with each other to collect dust by the coulomb force. Thus by applying DC voltage, the lowering of dust collecting efficiency caused by the electrical neutralization and deterioration is prevented even when conductive dust flows in.</p> |
