PARTICULATE FILTER BY BRAKING FORCE RECOVERING ELECTRIC POWER

PURPOSE:To cover the electric power supplied to a filter needing large electric power for burning-up process of diesel particulates with the output from a braking energy recovering device. CONSTITUTION:A turbo-charger 2 provided with a dynamo-electric machine 3 is mounted on an exhaust flow path of an engine 1 and a filter 6 incorporating a heat generating body is disposed downstream of the turbo-charger. A pressure sensor 64 is mounted on an inlet of the filter 6. Electric power from a braking force recovering device 5 provided in the engine output system is supplied to the filter 6 at the rising up time to raise the inside temperature to a high temperature and then supply electric power from a generator 4 mounted on a vehicle for maintaining the high temperature of the inside.
