PURPOSE: To provide a differential gear device having a clutch device and an output element requiring no toothed rim. CONSTITUTION: A ring gear 3 rotationally drives a housing 1. Two projecting parts 5' of output elements are screwed in passages 6 of rotary swash plates 7. Balls 10 are formed on the free ends of two arms 12 projecting from a cylindrical central member 11 of a joint link toward the diametric direction. The central member 11, the arms 12, the balls 10 and the rotary swash plates 7 form a clutch device for connecting the output elements 5 to the housing 1, and the rotational speeds of both output elements 5 are different from each other. The central member 11 performs rotational motion and translational motion in relation to the housing 1. Both ends 11', 11" of the central member 11 are guided in cylinders 13, 14, and a passage 15 penetrates through the central member 1. The cylinders 13, 14 and the passage 15 are filled with fluid. |
