The invention relates to a cage for protecting an object, such as a refuse container (bin), comprising a number of cage parts which are releasably coupled together by coupling means, wherein preferably a locking member for the coupling means can only be actuated from inside the cage in order to uncouple coupled cage parts, which furthermore comprise a frame comprising tubes, and wherein the coupling means are accommodated in adjoining tubes. The invention furthermore relates to a cage part and to coupling means.
