The lamp 1 consists of a luminous source 4 formed in a casing 2 which insulates against moisture and can be connected to the electricity by means of connection cables 7, 8. The casing 2 consists of two half-casings 11, 12 constructed with plastic foil 3, having a housing space 10 which serves for receiving the neon lamp 4 and the connection cables 7, 8. Both half-casings 11, 12 are joined via the edge 18 of the housing space by means of a welded seam 13, 17 which encloses the neon lamp 4 in the housing space 10. <IMAGE>
