PURPOSE:To provide a container for a kagami mochi (a pair of mirror-shaped round rice cakes for New Year) with which contents are easy to take out and to eat by a method wherein standing parts having a shape of the mochi is formed of an opaque material, a container which does not allow the mochi to be seen through is used, appearance of the container is like a conventional shape of the kagami mochi even if there are small pieces of mochi in it to improve a commercial value and also to reduce a problem of difficulty in opening the conventional container and a problem of waste and pollution. CONSTITUTION:An opening 2 is formed at the bottom of a shape 1 wherein standing parts 1A are formed similarly to a shape of a kagami mochi at the time of mounting, and contents 3 such as rice cake are put from the opening 2 into the container 1. In this container for kagami mochi, at least the standing parts 1A shaped like kagami mochi of the container 1 is formed of a transparent or semitransparent resin layer 5 outside an opaque resin layer 4 exhibiting a color of the rice cake. |
