PURPOSE:To provide a pneumatic tire for heavy load and the manufacturing method thereof suppressing partial wear generated to the protuding parts of a main groove so as to prevent the generation of track wear, thereby enabling the whole tread to wear uniformly. CONSTITUTION:The tread 1 of a tire is provided with at least one main groove extended circumferentially. Rubber 3 higher in wear resistance than other tread part rubber is disposed within a range of distance W outward from the main groove 2, with circumferential straight lines, passing groove wall positions 21A, 22A positioned on both sides of the main groove and on the innermost sides of the main groove, set as reference lines R1, L1. The distance W in relation to deviation width (a) which is the distance from the reference lines R1, L1 to straight lines R2, L2 passing groove wall positions 21B, 22B positioned on the outermost sides of the main groove 2 is to be a<W<=3a. |
