The phase compensating method includes the steps of discriminating a driving error of the motor using a phase current and a position of the motor, adding a reference value stored in a ROM table to a current command value of the motor, and proportionally integrating the added value to be supplied to the motor, thereby improving the driving efficiency of the motor.
