New cyclohexano-hylidene derivatives are described which interrupt Tumour Necrosis Factor (TNF) production and are useful in treatment of disease conditions caused or aggravated by TNF production. The compounds of this patent can also be used to inhibit or interrupt the enzymatic or catalytic action of phosphodiesterase IV.
