Masting device intended to support a sail arrangement of a multihull. The invention relates to a device which makes possible the isolated or simultaneous use of a number of sails inclined against the wind and to leeward. These sails can function in this manner in most trims and they are supported by a fixed mast. This device also makes it possible to rigidify their supports. This device is constituted by a triangulate shape, the sides (1 and 2) of which are inclined towards the interior of the boat and support the sails (3 and 4). This device is placed laterally in relation to the direction of advance of the boat, over the width of the latter. The device according to the invention is in particular intended to improve the performance of multihull sailing boats, to make them more stable under the pressure of the wind and to rigidify their masting. <IMAGE>
