The subject of the invention is a hearing aid, which comprises an input transducer 1, converting the acoustic signals which it receives into electrical signals, a first amplification device 2, amplifying the electrical signals sent by the input transducer 1, and an output transducer 3, converting the electrical signals amplified by the first amplification device 2 into acoustic signals. According to the invention, the hearing aid further includes a device 5 capable of sending an electrical signal of substantially white noise, depending on the position of a switch 6, to the input of the first amplification device 2. Advantageously, this device 5 consists of a second amplification device, identical to the first one. <IMAGE>
