Process for producing fabric covers for the accumulator electrode plates, involving weaving two layer polyester fabric with the intermittent crosswise or lengthwise layer weaving, possibly with plaiting the edges and gaps separating covers, impregnating the fabric with copolymer dispersion, drying, placing rods between the layers, heating the fabric with rods, cooling and assembling, or impregnating one layer fabric, drying, heating and assembling, characterised in that 0.01-5% anti foaming agent is used for the impregnating purposes, preferably a silicon based, approximately 50% dispersion of carboxyl copolymer, styrene and butadiene, preferably containing more than 80% of bounded styrene and up to 5% of carboxyl group monomer carriers, preferably the following acids: acrylic, methacrylic, maleic, and their esters such as monobutyl maleate and amides such as acrylamide and their N-methyl derivatives, cross linked via carboxyl groups by methylene derivatives of melamine, while the number of carboxyl groups bounded in the copolymer equals to at least 15%. |
