The element is mfd. of electrically conductive leaf-spring material with two fault contact limbs (2) whose parallel inner ends (5) enclose the contact slot. The limbs are joined together above and below by bent connecting surfaces (e.g 8) radiused (R) according to the desired deg. of movement and spring force.The wire is taken into the slot between the ends of the limbs which afford a mechanically stable and self-supporting element requiring no attachment to a wall.
