The wall socket (2) is associated with a switching element which is itself connected to the supply line. A receiver is included for reception of a radio signal from a mobile transmitter. The transmitter sends signals for connection or disconnection between the supply line and the contact shell of the wall socket. Several wall sockets are included in a water-tight housing (1) with connection leads (1) and plugs (4). Each socket or plug includes a switching element with a receiver. Each socket also has a protective lid or cover (8).
