A ventilation slide is provided with an elongated, substantially block-shaped housing (1), in which two opposite walls (4, 5) are provided with ventilation openings, at least one of which walls (5) being detachably connected with the housing and cooperating with a plate-shaped valve member (7) which can fully, partly or not close the ventilation openings. The detachable wall abuts stop shoulders (2e, 3f) in the housing, an insect screen (6) extending from a fastening groove (5b) near one stop shoulder into a fastening groove (5c) near the other stop shoulder. The lower fastening groove (5c) is located beyond the stop shoulder (3f), as seen from the ventilation openings in the detachable side wall, so that water collecting on the screen and flowing downwards drains by space 13 and bore 3g to the exterior. <IMAGE>
