Infusion bottle with union in cap for infusion fitting

The bottle or bag contains an infusion solution, having a cap on its neck to which an infusion fitting is connected.The bottle (2) with neck (3) is of standard shape and capacity, and of material which does not affect the contents during filling, storage and preparation. It has a screw-cap (5) with integral union (10). With this a blind connector can be engaged, or alternatively one (24) on the end of the infusion fitting (25) furthest from the patient.A protective cap can be fitted over the screw-cap with blind connector fitted to it.
