PURPOSE:To improve the precision of position size between a toner guide and the surface of an image carrier by constituting the positioning reference of the toner guide directly by using a process cartridge side plate which supports the image carrier of member fixed thereto. CONSTITUTION:The support 9 which supports the center shaft 1a of a drum 1 is provided with a slanting surface 9a as the abutting reference of a aqueeze sheet 11, and parts 10a and 10b of a squeeze sheet metallic fitting 10 constituted integrally with the aqueeze sheet 11 are accommodated on the slanting surface 9a. Then, while the parts 10a and 10b are pressed against the slanting surface 9a by a leaf spring 8 fixed to a cleaner frame 7, the squeeze sheet 11 is held in an abutting state. Consequently, the abutting distance lambda between the surface of a drum 1 and the squeeze sheet 11 is secured with high precision and staining in a maching due to a toner leak and the flawing of the surface of the drum 1 are prevented. |
