The invention relates to a dosing apparatus for a distributor, preferably a seed drill or fertiliser spreader, having in each case at least one coarse-dosing or normal-dosing wheel (1) and one fine-dosing wheel (2) which can be selectively connected operatively to a dosing shaft (4) as a result of the displacement of the latter. To block the dosing wheel not required, there is a blocking element (5) which is mounted on the housing and which can be brought into engagement and released by means of a spring-prestressed lever (7) with the use of a disengaging device (8).
