<p>PURPOSE:To give gas permeability to an instep and make it hard for deformation to occur by heating an instep lining material which forms an instep member installed on a sole member and which is formed with felt composed of specific mixed raw materials to a specific temperature by means of a heating mold and then, pressurizing and cooling same by means of a cooling mold. CONSTITUTION:A material in which a base material 2 is laminated on the bottom face of a felt type body 1 composed of the mixed raw materials of a low melting point synthetic fiber and a high melting point synthetic fiber is cut to form an instep lining material 3, on top of which an instep surface material 4 of cloth is stuck to form an instep member 5. A heel portion core 7 and an inner sole member 8 are superposed on a main sole 6 and the instep material 5 is superposed on the front half portion of the inner sole member 8 and the edges of the members are oversewed. After that, the instep member 5 is heated to a temperature in the vicinity of the melting point of the low melting point synthetic fiber by means of a heated heating mold 10 and then, this heating bold 10 is removed and the instep member 5 is cooled while in a heated condition by means of a cooling mold 11, to obtain a finished product. The obtained instep has sufficient gas permeability while having a very good moldability without causing deformation.</p> |
