摘要 PURPOSE: To reduce the number of multipliers and to miniaturize the constitution of circuits by time-dividedly executing envelope coefficient multiplication and interpolating coefficient multiplication for musical sound waveform sampling value data by using a common multiplication means. CONSTITUTION: A multiplication means 15a is prepared in common to envelope coefficient multiplication and interpolation coefficient multiplication. A time- division control means controls time-divided supply and the means 15a executes multiplication between one of coefficients and musical sound waveform sampling value data generated from a musical sound waveform generating means WD and executes multiplication between the multiplied result and the remaining coefficient. For instance, multiplication between musical sound waveform sampling value data generated from the means WD and an interpolation coefficient is executed at first so as to closely generate musical sound waveform sampling value data by interpolation and multiplication between the closely generated musical, sound waveform sampling value data and an envelope coefficient is executed by the same multiplying means to apply an envelope to a musical sound waveform sampling value data. Consequently the number of multipliers is reduced and the circuit constitution is miniaturized.
