The invention relates to a calender and to an installation for calendering having exchangeable rolls, comprising a calender, a supply store for at least one exchange roll and a change-over device for the roll to be exchanged, in which the calender comprises a machine frame, which is constructed from two stands (1) set up parallel to each other and in which frame at least two rolls (2), driven by at least one motor, are mounted by means of bearings (6), the bearings being mounted in bearing bodies (3) which can be displaced in the stand by the action of external forces. The object of the invention is to be able to undertake, using simple means, a very rapid change-over of rolls, in particular of profiled rolls. The invention consists in that part of each stand of the calender is a tie-bar (9) which can be moved out of the stand after fastening means (12) have been released and then leaves behind a free space in the stand through which the bearing bodies at least of one roll can be removed from the stand and can be placed into position, and in that the changeover device is a lifting (19) and/or sliding device (28) which has means (21) for clasping the bearing bodies. <IMAGE> |
