The laser diode in which a stem, on which a chip is bonded, and parts relating to the stem are mounted on a base, a cap is capped to protect the parts, and wherein the bottom of the stem is assembled in a screw shape so that the stem is selectively used according to the power of the laser diode, thereby assembling the stem easily.
