PURPOSE:To reduce number of remote control operation switches for a television receiver or a video equipment or the like. CONSTITUTION:A signal is sent by using one operation button of a remote control transmitter 1. The signal is received by a remote control light receiving unit 2 of an input changeover device and the unit 2 outputs a signal for pattern display of 'video 1' or the like onto a screen of current indication till number of times of reception (number of times of depression of the operation button) is 1-4, and when the number reaches 5 times, the signal is discriminated to be input changeover and the input is switched from 'video 1' into 'video 2'. Thus, one operation button is enough for 'pattern display' and 'input changeover' having two operation buttons in a conventional remote control device. |
