<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a color tone from being changed even with misregistration in a main scanning direction and in a sub-scanning direction. CONSTITUTION:Magenta pixels 15 adjacent to each other in a main scanning direction are shifted to each other in a sub-scanning direction by 1/2 pitch. Cyan pixels 17 are grouped evey two pixels in the main scanning direction and shifted per group by 1/2 pitch in the sub-scanning direction. So with yellow pixels 18. Therefore, even with occurrence of misregistration, adjacent two columns of color patterns are kept in a complemetary color relation. In this manner, a color changes microscopically, but a resultant color tone does not change macroscopically because the color patterns offset each other.</p> |
