PURPOSE:To achieve improvement of productivity by removing a failure of a takeoff pin and its trace even for a small sized insulation body having a thin peripheral wall concerning a resin molding metal mold for a connector insulation body. CONSTITUTION:A metal mold for resin molding which molds a connector insulation body to which terminal fixing holes are lined up, is composed of at least a fixed mold 3 molding one side face with an ejecting mechanism part 24, a movable mold 42 capable of reciprocating which molds the other side face, a sliding core 35 which molds the terminal fixing hole of the insulation body together with the terminal insertion side face, and a sliding core 36 which molds an opening side face of the terminal fixing hole of the insulation body. Further, means 45-1, 45-2 wherein respective sliding cores 35, 36 arranged respectively between the fixed mold 32 and the movable mold 42 can approach each other or be separated from each other while they are sliding on an interface of respective sliding cores 35, 36 by being engaged with reciprocative motion of the movable mold 42, are provided. |
