PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic copolymer having a narrow composition distribution, no surface tack, excellent transparency and rigidity, comprising a 1-butene propylene random copolymer having specific physical properties and a specific propylene content. CONSTITUTION:The copolymer comprises a 1-butene propylene random copolymer having 1-40mol% propylene content, has <=2wt.% boiling methyl acetate soluble content, 50-130 deg.C melting point Tm based on thermal analysis of differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), 0.5-6 di/g intrinsic viscosity [eta] measure in decalin at 135 deg.C and <4X[77]wt.% dissolved amount in mixed solvent of n- decalin and acetone (volume ratio 1/1). Th copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing 1-butene with propylen at 20-200 deg.C in the presence of a catalyst composed of a highly active Ti catalytic component comprising Mg, Ti, a halogen and a diester as essential components, an organoaluminum compound and an organosilicon compound having Si-O-C bond. |
