PURPOSE:To enable the extension connection wherever slave machines may be located within the support area of a master machine, in a cordless telephone system composed of plural master machines and plural cordless slave machines. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with plural slave machines 1, a reception part 2 receiving radio wave for direct call between slave machines and monitoring the calling of the direct call between slave machines, a positional information storage part 3 storing the positional information of the slave machines 1, a radio call processing part 4 calling an incoming slave machine by radio and connecting it and a cable call processing part 5 calling the incoming slave machine via a communication network and connecting it. Further, the system has a connection control part 6 retrieving the positional information of the incoming slave machine corresponding to the calling based on the monitoring of the reception part 2 and selectively starting the radio call processing part 4 or the cable call processing part 5 according to the result and is provided with at least one of master machine 7 performing the cordless communication with the slave machine 1. |
