PURPOSE:To provide a word converter having a function for storing a retrieved result by using a 2nd language word outputted as a word conversion result as a key and displaying an original 1st language word and its retrieved result when necessary. CONSTITUTION:The word converter provided with a retrieving character string input part 1 for inputting a 1st language character string, a dictionary part 2 for storing information relating to the 2nd language, a retrieving part 3 for retrieving the dictionary part 2 by using the 1st language character string inputted by the inputting part 1, and a retrieved result displaying part 6 for displaying the retrieved result retrieved by the retrieving part 3 is characteristically provided also with a 2nd language retrieving history recording part 5 for recording the retrieved result of the retrieving part 3 correspondingly to a 2nd language word and a 2nd language retrieving history specifying part 4 for retrieving a history recorded in the recording part 5 by using the 2nd language word as a keyword and outputting the retrieved history to the displaying part 6. |
