PURPOSE: To provide a thermal dye transferring dye-donor element, the uniformity in a dye transferring of which is substantially improved in a high ratio between a dye and a binder. CONSTITUTION: A thermal dye transferring dye-donor element is made by including a support, on the surface of which a dye layer dispersedly including an image dye in a binder. The binder is coated in the form of an aqueous solution and, at the same time, essentially made of a hydrophilic polymer. In addition, on the surface of the element, at least one underlayer made of a swellable polymer arranged between the support and the dye layer is carried. |
