PURPOSE:To reduce the labor for control by transmitting code data, outputted every time the state of an image forming process is changed, to a main controller in series by another control which constitutes a subordinate controller together with discrimination data. CONSTITUTION:Every time the operation of respective parts of a copying machine is changed, a master CPU 40 sends the code data corresponding to the state after the change to a CPU 42 which constitutes the subordinate controller. The code data are stored temporarily in a RAM 47 with which the CPU 42 is equipped and the CPU 42 requests a host computer 57 to send data. The host computer 57 which constitutes the main controller sends the code data stored in the RAM 47 to the host computer 57 together with the ID code of the copying machine for which the CPU 42 is connected. The host computer 57 displays the state corresponding to the code data in the field of the copying machine corresponding to the ID code with the data sent from the CPU 42. Therefore, the detailed operation state of the copying machine can be controlled and the labor for the control is reduced. |
