PURPOSE:To obtain a mineral sorption promotor containing a lactulose oligosaccharide as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:This mineral sorption promotor contains a lactulose oligosaccharide expressed by the general formula (Gal)n-Fru [Gal is galactose residue and Fr is fructose residue; (n) is integer of 2-3] as an active ingredient. The promotor is useful in prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and other bone diseases, because the promotor can enhance sorption of the minerals by oral administration.
