摘要 PURPOSE: To minimize pollution problems of a room air by treating organic pollutants and biological pollutants from cycled air in a building with ozone and removing them from the air, and then removing a non-reacting ozone. CONSTITUTION: An ozonized air is formed at an ozone generator 21 outside a duct 11, is introduced into a diffuser 15 from a manifold 17, is distributed to a nozzle 23 uniformly, is sprayed into cycled air homogeneously and is mixed perfectly with ozone. An airflow treated by ozone proceeds from the diffuser 15 into an oxidized catalyst zone 25 composed of a porous bed of a particulate oxidizing catalyst and a treated airflow oxidized is fed into an ozone decomposition catalyst zone 27. An air flow recovered from this final zone has a lower pollutant content than an air flow flowing into an outlet 10 and has a lower ozone content than an oxidized airflow taken out of the oxidizing catalyst zone 25. Then the airflow cleaned is returned to an air cycling system in the closed region from a duct 11 through an outlet 12.
