<p>PURPOSE:To remove harmful gas such as NO2 and sulfur dioxide in the air only by exposing an adsorptive plate to the air. CONSTITUTION:An adsorptive plate packed with a granular adsorbent is exposed to the air and harmful gas is brought into contant with is by natural wind to remove harmful gas, such as NO2, etc., in the air. For flat, V-shaped or grating type adsorptive plate, the plate is packed with an adsorbent of 20-100mm thickness. For a cylinder type absorptive plate, the outside diameter of its cylinder is 100-200mm and it is packed with an absorbent of 20-50mm thickness. The absorbent is the one, for example, consisting of a mixture of 30% of xonotlite (hydrothermal compound of Ca6Si6O17(OH)2) as air hardening hydrate of calcium silicate, 30% of slaked lime for JIS industrial use, 15% of potassium carbonate and 20% of active carbon powder and is formed into pellets (3-4mm in diameter and 4-6mm in length).</p> |
