PURPOSE: To improve a prosthesis with a variable diameter implantable to the body using a catheter and otherwise make it possible to connect to a body cavity or between body cavities and to maintain in a released state after put in the body, making it useful for therapeutic purpose. CONSTITUTION: The prosthesis 10 has coating layers 12, 13 made from a sheath material capable of elastically expanding from a smaller diameter to a larger diameter without causing breakage when expanded in which such a sheath material holds and stores at least one kind of medicine to administer at a specific dosage rate gradually to a patient after the prosthesis 10 is implanted.
