<p>PURPOSE: To permit calibration with high accuracy by including a calibration sequence, a compensation sequence and an operation sequence. CONSTITUTION: In a calibration sequence, a fist temperature, a predefined current, and a known input value of voltage are transmitted to an A/D converter 38. Next, the actual temperature is detected and read. Then correction values are determined for various inputs and stored values and are stored in a memory. In a compensation sequence, the current temperature is detected and read. Next, compensation values for various inputs at the current temperature are determined from a table and active correction values for various inputs are stored. In an operation sequence, the active correction values determined and stored during the compensation sequence with respect to the necessary inputs are read from the memory and applied so that a converter/positioner device is operable using the corrected input values. Therefore, calibration can be performed with high accuracy.</p> |
