<p>PURPOSE: To easily edit character information without damaging an existing video signal by varying a control pulse and recording character information data in a control track. CONSTITUTION: The character information data and a specified control signal data are outputted to a control head 120 and the two pieces of outputted data are recorded in the control track of a recording medium by a microcomputer 110. A reproduced signal is amplified by an amplifier 130, formed into a rectangular wave by a monostable multivibrator 140 and inputted in an integrator 150 and the microcomputer 110 in the case of reproduction. A control signal is generated by integrating the rectangular wave by the integrator 150, the character information data is extracted and outputted to an OSD IC 160 by the microcomputer 110. The character information is displayed on a screen by the IC 160. In this way, the character information is easily edited without damaging the existing video signal by varying the control pulse and recording the character information data to the control track.</p> |
