PURPOSE: To make a picture processor to easily adapt itself to the detection and processing of several erroneous alignments by detecting the erroneous registration of a test picture with respect to a reference picture. CONSTITUTION: A picture processor is composed of a picture acquiring means 18 which acquires the data corresponding to a picture having several spatially separated local areas, a storing means 22 for storing reference information, an integrating means 24 which collects information from the local areas and reference information, and an analyzing means 24 which analyzes the collected information for discriminating whether or not the picture is shifted from a normal position. |
