PURPOSE:To obtain a recording matter in which an original picture is reproduced with fidelity by instructing the recording of a picture through the use of a recording agent used for expressing a characteristic. CONSTITUTION:A connection circuit 16 controls the read timing of a memory of an address control section, the start timing of a motor driver 23 and the start timing of a head driver 24 to control print timing to a cloth 6 being a recording medium. An address control section reads picture data sequentially from a memory according to a parameter set to the memory and gives the data to the head driver 24. Thus, the driver 24 generates a drive signal for recording heads 2a-2d and a special color head in response to the picture data and gives the signal to each head. Thus, ink drops are jetted to the cloth and a picture in response to the picture data is printed out.
