PURPOSE:To simultaneously diagnose plural subunits included in an information processor through shift paths. CONSTITUTION:A subunit selecting circuit 101 and a control circuit 102 in a shift control part 1A supply shift clocks and shift data to all subunits from subunit (0) 2 to subunit (n) 5. A comparator 103 compares the shift-out data of all the subunits and an error detecting circuit 104 detects the existence of an error based upon the compared result. A subunit detecting circuit 105 receives the shift-out data of all the subunits and an expected value for the shift-out data of a path 11 and detects a subunit outputting shift-out data different from the expected value. Consequently all the subunits can be simultaneously diagnosed. |
