PURPOSE: To provide a paper web guide device which is capable of printing a water-based printing ink on a paper web of a coated paper, initially on one of the faces and next on both faces of which a single ink or plural different color inks are printed, and is equipped with a soft, elastic printing plate, without a drying device for relief printing. CONSTITUTION: The travel distance of a paper web 14 from the last printing spot 6 of the first printing face of the paper web upto a next paper diversion device 22 which cooperates with the first printing face after being guided in the vertical direction among printing devices 3, 10; 4, 9;5, 8;6, 7 adjacently arranged in the horizontal direction is equivalent to a value obtained by multiplying at least (n+1) by the spacing (a) in the horizontal direction between the two mutually adjacent plate cylinders of the printing devices. In addition, the travel distance of the paper web 14 from the last printing spot 7 of the second printing face of the paper web 14 upto a next paper diversion device 32 cooperating with the second printing face, is equivalent to a value obtained by multiplying at least (m+2) by the spacing (a) in the horizontal direction between the two plate cylinders 12. |
