PURPOSE: To package LED to be used for the display panel of a printer and the other electronic unit without using a circuit board used exclusively for LED. CONSTITUTION: Plural curved optical conductors 38, 40, 42 and 44 are provided between the display panel 22 of an electronic unit casing and plural light emitting diodes 30, 32, 34 and 36 on a printed circuit board 28 which is vertically mounted on the display panel 22. Light beams from LED 30-36 are transmitted to a display panel-side while they are reflected and refracted in the optical conductors for plural times. The optical conductors 38-44 are supported by an integral vertical/horizontal frames 54, 56 and 58 fixed to the display panel 22 and the end of the horizontal frame 54 is engaged with the groove 60 of the printed circuit board 28. Thus, the optical conductors 38-44 and LED 30-36 are positioned.
