PURPOSE:To easily insert a character string to an inputted sentence. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a sentence coordinate storage part 4 for storing sentence coordinate data showing the position of the character string described and inputted from a display-integrated coordinate input device 1, a mode judge part 3 for judging whether it is an inserting mode to insert the character string under inputting to the other character string or not based on the position of the described and inputted character string and the sentence coordinate data of the inputted character string stored in the sentence coordinate storage part 4, a clause segmenting part 8 for detecting a clause position by segmenting the character recognized result of the described and inputted character string for the unit of a clause, and a character string inserting part 10 for inserting the inputted character strings at the clause position of the inputted character string provided by the clause segmenting part 8 and a prescribed clause position decided based on the position of the inputted character string when the inserting mode is judged by the mode judge part 3. |
