PURPOSE:To provide a pulse wave analyzer having an inexpensive structure and measuring the circulatory dynamic parameters without damaging the body of a patient. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 4 detects the radial artery wave of a patient via a pulse wave detecting device 1, performs a simulation based on this radial artery wave, i.e., the process to consolidate the values of elements of an electric circuit simulating the system from the central part to the peripheral region of the artery system of a human body so that the response wave-form coincides with the radial artery wave when the electric signal corresponding to the pressure wave at the start site of an aorta is applied, and the values of the elements obtained by this consolidation are outputted as circulatory dynamic parameters. |
