PURPOSE:To provide a substrate holding apparatus capable of quickly cope with the changeover of substrate kind in an electronic component mounting machine. CONSTITUTION:A substrate holding and fixing body 14 is installed which abuts against a substrate 12 from below and holds and fixes the substrate 12. The substrate holding and fixing body 14 consists of cylinders 12, holding an fixing pins 14a which are inserted into the cylinders 15, and can change upward protruding lengths by sliding, and springs 16 which upward energize the holding and fixing pins 14a. The protruding length of the holding and fixing pin 14a is changed so as to correspond with the thickness of the substrate 12 or attached electronic components. |
