PURPOSE:To enable retaining an electronic component without using a cover tape, and make a reel for rolling up the cover tape of a component feeding unit unnecessary, by constituting a tape body of elastic material, so as to be able to pinch the electronic component with a component accommodation hole. CONSTITUTION:A pin 22 of a first wheel engages with the sending hole of a tape body 1, which is intermittently sent. An electronic component 3 retained by a component accommodation hole 2 of the tape body 1 stops at a sucking position. A pushing rod 15 is pushed, and a pushing rod 17 ascends via a transferring plate 16. The transferring plate 16 pushes a rod 19 and fixes a second wheel 18. Since a pin 23 engages with a sending hole 4, a wheel 18 fixes the tape body 1. The pushing rod 17 which has ascended pushes up the tape body 1, and opens the component accommodation hole 2 restraining the electronic component 3. When the component accommodation hole 2 is opened, a suction nozzle sucks the electronic component 3 and mounts it on a printed board. After the electronic component 3 is sucked, the tape body 1 is sent to a back ward accommodation part by the first wheel. |
