PURPOSE:To produce a molded item of high performance magnetic material from a sintering retardant powder of rare earth intermetallic compound through high pressure sintering. CONSTITUTION:A molded item of magnetic material excellent in magnetic characteristics and compactness is produced through high pressure sintering of a sintering retardant powder of rare earth intermetallic compound including Sm2Fe17Nx, Sm2Fe17CyNx, NdFe11TiNx, or the powder of compositional metal or compound thereof. |
