PURPOSE:To faithfully reproduce a color selected for a design in an image forming system such as a printing system. CONSTITUTION:The standard color patch of a color selected at the time of designing is read (SS9-1) and drive data for a recording head is calculated on the basis of the color patch to perform printing (SS9-3, SS9-5). Next, the printed image is read (SS9-7) and the color data obtained by reading is compared with standard color one (SS9-9) and drive data is corrected until the difference between both of them becomes below a specific value (SS9-13). By this constitution, the drive data capable of faithfully reproducing the selected color can be determined. |
